Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been nominated for the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Player of the Year award after an impressive season with 29 goals and 18 assists that helped Liverpool win the Premier League title, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Salah, who was also named the Sports Writers' Association Footballer of the Year with almost 90% of the vote - the largest winning margin this century - is the favourite to win the PFA award as well.

In addition to him, the list also includes his teammate Alexis Mac Allister, Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice, Chelsea's Cole Palmer, Newcastle's Swedish striker Alexander Isak and Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

The awards ceremony will be held on August 19 in Manchester.
