Real Madrid have announced that Raúl has informed the club of his decision to end his career as a youth academy coach, according to the club's website, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The club's announcement states:

"Real Madrid is proud to have had one of the greatest legends in our history and in world football as a coach and trainer in our youth academy. Raúl also embodies all the values ​​of Real Madrid. A value that he has also transmitted as a coach: he trained Cadete B (U15) and Juvenil B (U18) in the 2018-2019 season. Since then, he has trained Castilla. In August 2020, he also trained Juvenil A (U19), the team that won the Youth League. Raúl will always be in the hearts of all Madridistas and Real Madrid will always be his home".

It is not yet known whether Raul will continue his career as a coach at a higher level team.
