Fenerbahce Beko claimed the 2025 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague title with an 81–70 win over Monaco, as Nigel Hayes-Davis was named Final Four MVP and head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius finally lifted the trophy after years of near-misses, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

At the post-game press conference, Hayes-Davis reflected on the emotional weight of the win: “I believed all year... but when you visualize it so many times, it feels surreal. I’m just happy for the whole team and staff.” The American forward credited effort over luck, saying, “In games like this, it’s 90% effort.”

In a light-hearted moment, Hayes-Davis poured water on Jasikevicius as he exited, prompting the coach to quip, “That’s the problem with the new generation. They don’t know how to celebrate.”

For Jasikevicius, who had previously reached four Final Fours, the win was deeply personal. “It was unfair when people asked when I would finally win — this is one of the hardest trophies to get,” he said. “It’s the greatest feeling in the world.”

He praised Hayes-Davis for his maturity and Marko Guduric for his decisive performance: “His drives and shots sealed the championship.”
