This weekend, the Cotroceni Presidential Palace will once again welcome visitors, with the Special Telecommunications Service (STS) offering a hands-on tech experience for all ages from Friday to Sunday, 10:00 to 18:00, CE Report quotes Agerpres

STS will showcase a wide array of cutting-edge technologies, including emergency call simulations, cybersecurity and blockchain workshops, VR experiences, and demonstrations of electoral tech systems. Visitors can explore special telecommunications vehicles and equipment used to secure national communications, engage in a virtual shooting range, and test a new mobile app designed for video emergency calls.

Children can enjoy robotics games and learn about online safety, while guests of all ages can interact directly with STS engineers and emergency call operators. The event highlights STS’s role in securing Romania’s digital infrastructure and its commitment to public transparency and trust.
