Earth Hour at Cotroceni Palace: Lights Out for Nature

Romania

The Presidential Administration will observe Earth Hour again this year on Saturday, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, with the lights of the Cotroceni Presidential Palace going dark to raise awareness for nature conservation, CE Report quotes Agerpres

This year, Earth Hour coincides with World Water Day, emphasizing the importance of protecting our planet’s resources, particularly water. Water is vital for health, food production, and sustainable energy. By reducing water and energy waste, we help protect the Earth. In addition, the "Open Gates at Cotroceni Palace" program has launched, offering visitors free access to explore the Cotroceni Palace garden.

The Presidential Administration has also been involved in ongoing environmental initiatives, including tree and flower plantings and green space maintenance at the Cotroceni Palace.
