
Bolojan to Attend European Council and Euro Summit in Brussels
Interim President Ilie Bolojan will participate in the European Council and Euro Summit meetings this Thursday and Friday in Brussels. The discussions will focus on European competitiveness, energy, and investments, with a special emphasis on simplifying administrative burdens and strengthening the energy market, CE Report quotes Agerpres
Bolojan will also have a working meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres to address global challenges such as multilateralism, ocean issues, and the Middle East. Additionally, he will attend the EPP Summit and hold bilateral talks with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic.
The European Council will also address key issues, including the future of EU defense and the ongoing situation in the Middle East. The agenda includes discussions on support for Ukraine and migration management, as well as preparing for the European Commission's upcoming financial proposals.
