Trump envisages broad European agreement beyond Ukraine
US President Donald Trump has said that a comprehensive agreement on Ukraine will be reached, adding that it could also involve other European countries.
In his conversation with reporters at the Oval Office, the American leader noted that the upcoming agreement could potentially encompass the entire European continent.
"There will be an agreement. It will be a great agreement, and it will encompass more than just Ukraine. I can even say that it might cover all of Europe. It will be a grand and magnificent agreement. Everyone will be happy with it," Trump emphasized.
To recall, the US midterm elections were held on November 3. Voters elected 35 of the 100 members of the Senate and all 435 members of the House of Representatives. Gubernatorial elections were also held in 36 states.
On Wednesday and Thursday, shares of several leading US companies, as well as companies in a number of other countries, recorded significant declines.
