North Macedonia, US reaffirm strategic partnership at Bled Forum

On the sidelines of the Bled Strategic Forum, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of North Macedonia Timcho Mucunski met with Alison Hooker, Under Secretary for Political Affairs at the U.S. Department of State.

The meeting confirmed the high level of bilateral relations and the strong strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as their shared commitment to further deepening and expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest, CE Report informs via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of North Macedonia's official website.

The two officials discussed energy security, regional connectivity, and further strengthening economic and trade cooperation.

They also exchanged views on current security challenges and developments within NATO.

The meeting stressed that the strategic partnership with the United States and North Macedonia’s alliance within NATO represent an important contribution to collective security, stability and resilience in the region.
