King Charles withdraws palace offer to Prince Harry
An offer of accommodation at Buckingham Palace made by King Charles III to his younger son, Prince Harry, ahead of his visit to the United Kingdom starting tomorrow, has been withdrawn.
The gesture, which was intended as a sign of reconciliation, was canceled by the royal household, according to the BBC, after the Duke of Sussex announced earlier today that he had accepted the invitation, CE Report quotes ANSA.
According to palace sources, Harry's acceptance came too late, as the arrangements required more advance notice.
A spokesperson for Prince Harry acknowledged that the invitation "has been withdrawn" and described the decision as "disappointing."
