Montenegro to mark Day of Remembrance for Jasenovac, Mauthausen, Dachau victims
The Parliament of Montenegro will mark the Day of Remembrance for the victims of genocide in the concentration camp system of Jasenovac, Mauthausen and Dachau with a symbolic programme at the Music Centre of Montenegro (Large Hall),
The programme will start at 20:00 on 21 April 2026, CE Report informs via the Parliament of Montenegro's official website.
As part of the commemorative programme, composer and conductor Aleksandar Sedlar will perform the composition “Šum šume preko polja” (“The Sound of the Forest Across the Field”).
The performance will be presented in cooperation with an ensemble consisting of a symphony orchestra, a female choir, and distinguished artists: Dragan Petrović, Nebojša Đorđević, Nenad Okanović, Ana Petrović, Jovana Čurović, and Sara Ristić.
