Israel has warned that it will target any potential successor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as the conflict between the two countries enters its second week and tensions in the region continue to rise, according to the BBC.

During the night, Iran struck a government building in Kuwait with a drone attack, causing a large fire, CE Report quotes ATA.

Other attacks have been reported in several areas of the Gulf, as clashes between the sides continue to expand across the region.

In Iran, oil depots were hit by heavy airstrikes. Residents reported several powerful explosions and said they woke up in the morning under a sky darkened by thick smoke covering the area.

Footage released from the scene shows a street in flames in Tehran after an oil depot was hit. In the video, a resident can be heard saying that shops and houses in the area were engulfed by the fire.

Meanwhile, Israel has warned residents in southern Lebanon to leave their areas, while the Israeli army announced it is preparing attacks against Hezbollah, the Iran-backed armed group.
