EU Parliament bans Iranian diplomats amid crackdown on protests
In response to the violent crackdown on protests in Iran, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced that all Iranian diplomats and representatives have been banned from entering the parliament premises.
She wrote on the social media platform X, “Things cannot continue as they were,” CE Report quotes STA.
Metsola also expressed her continued support for the Iranian people in their struggle for rights and freedom.
