US President doubts Ukraine targeted Putin’s residence
The US president said he does not believe that Ukraine, as Russia claims, attacked Putin's residence.
Donald Trump told reporters aboard his plane on his way from Florida to Washington, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.
“"I don't believe that strike happened,” he said. “There is something that happened fairly nearby, but had nothing to do with this.”
Last Monday, Russia accused Ukraine of attempting to attack Putin's Valdai residence in the Novgorod region with 91 drones. In this regard, the Kremlin said that Russia would review its position in negotiations with the US on ending the war.
As reported by CE Report, US national security officials have determined that Ukraine did not target Putin or his residence during the recent drone attack.
