Albania aligns with U.S. against Venezuela’s narco-terrorist regime - FM
Albania stands alongside the United States in its actions against what it described as Venezuela’s “narco-terrorist regime,” Foreign Minister Elisa Spiropali stated on Saturday, voicing support for U.S. President and Washington’s policies toward Caracas.
“Albania stands side by side with the United States and the U.S. President in their decisive actions against Venezuela’s narco-terrorist regime and President Nicolas Maduro,” Spiropali said in a statement.
“The Venezuelan people have an inalienable right to freedom, democracy and the rule of law and the international community should not remain silent in the face of repression and fear,” Foreign Minister Spiropali added, CE Report quotes ATA.
“We support the strong leadership of Secretary of State Rubio in confronting authoritarianism, corruption and transnational criminal networks,” Spiropali said.
She added that, as a “steadfast ally of the United States and a NATO member,” Albania stands shoulder to shoulder with U.S. leadership in defending democratic principles and global security.
