Hunger strike in Serbia sparks standoff outside parliament
Dijana Hrka, the mother of a young man who died when a canopy collapsed at the Novi Sad train station, began a hunger strike on Sunday in front of the Serbian Parliament.
The protest has caused tensions between supporters of Serbia’s president and citizens backing Hrka, CE Report quotes HINA.
The president’s supporters are camped in front of the parliament.
A police cordon separates the two groups.
