
Greece, U.S. Discuss Energy Ties and Power Projects
Greek Environment and Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou met with newly appointed U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Athens, Josh Huck, to discuss deepening energy cooperation between the two countries, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonia
Their talks focused on the South-North Vertical Gas Corridor, American LNG infrastructure in Revithoussa and Alexandroupolis, and planned electricity interconnection projects in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Papastavrou praised Huck’s diplomatic background and reaffirmed the strong strategic relationship between Greece and the U.S. under the leadership of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and former U.S. President Donald Trump.
