Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi held a phone call on Thursday to discuss regional developments, focusing on the Gaza crisis and the situation in Libya, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonia

They stressed the importance of continued cooperation on maritime zones in the Eastern Mediterranean to promote regional security and stability.

The two leaders also reviewed progress on talks regarding the Holy Monastery of St Catherine in Sinai, highlighting the need to reach an agreement soon.
