The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense showed US Special Representative Keith Kellogg some Western-made parts of Russian weapons that Ukrainian military intelligence found in destroyed or captured Russian gear, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The special exhibition was organized by the War&Sanctions portal of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in cooperation with colleagues from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise.

Kellogg, in particular, demonstrated Western elements of Iranian-Russian Shahed (“Geranium”) kamikaze dronesand Russian “Gerbera” drones, which the aggressor state uses to terrorize the civilian population of Ukraine.

Among the identified components is microelectronics, which is critical for the manufacture of high-precision weapons and which the Russian defense industry obtained through “gray schemes” that circumvented international sanctions.

“It is necessary for the international community to strengthen control over compliance with the sanctions imposed on Moscow. This also applies to manufacturers, who must take a more responsible approach to controlling their products on international markets,” emphasized a military officer from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Shyfr.

The Main Intelligence Directorate continues to uncover the secrets of Russian weapons and identify their components in order to prevent sanctions from being circumvented.

As reported, a single Russian Kh-101 missile can contain up to 250 foreign-made electronic components, while a UAV can contain up to 400.
