Céline Dion series “Growing Up Dion” in development with family backing

A series that will depict the early years of Céline Dion’s life is currently in development, with the working title “Growing Up Dion”.

This marks the first time the family of the world-renowned singer has officially supported a dramatized adaptation of her childhood, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

The production will include participation from the star’s brother, Jacques Dion, while the script will be based on the book “Dion, A Family Saga”, written by her nephew Jimmy Dion.

Zoë Green will serve as the showrunner of the project, which will revisit Dion’s childhood in Quebec and the years that followed in a small but very music-filled household.

There, the strong bond with her mother Thérèse, as well as her close relationship with her 14 siblings, were key elements that shaped her path toward global fame.
