Moldovan President Maia Sandu congratulated Ilie Bolojan on his appointment as Romania’s new Prime Minister. In a message on platform X, she reaffirmed Moldova’s commitment to strong bilateral ties, calling Romania a "reliable partner."

Bolojan was appointed on June 23 after his government secured 301 votes in Romania’s Parliament. His cabinet was sworn in the same day at Cotroceni Palace.
