Trump Signals Possible Iran Strike
President Donald Trump suggested Wednesday that the U.S. may join Israel's military actions against Iran, stating his patience with Tehran has "already run out." Speaking at a White House event, Trump said, “I may do it. I may not do it,” while emphasizing Iran's current vulnerability and desire to negotiate, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency
His remarks follow a warning from Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who said any direct U.S. intervention would lead to “irreparable consequences.” Trump brushed off the warning, responding, “Good luck,” and reiterated his demand for Iran’s unconditional surrender.
Tensions have surged since Israel launched airstrikes on Iranian military and nuclear sites last Friday, sparking deadly retaliatory strikes. Iran reports 585 deaths and over 1,300 injuries; Israel reports at least 24 deaths and hundreds wounded.
Trump said he encouraged Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to “keep going” but has not committed to deeper U.S. involvement—for now.
