Mitsotakis Visits Odessa Summit

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will travel to Odessa on Wednesday to attend the 4th Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit, at the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The summit highlights Greece’s ongoing support for Ukraine and its reconstruction, especially in the historic city of Odessa, a place of deep cultural ties for Greece, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

Mitsotakis is expected to reaffirm Greece’s interest in participating in Ukraine's rebuilding efforts, particularly in infrastructure and energy, and to back Ukraine’s and Moldova’s EU accession prospects, along with those of the Western Balkans.

The Greek leader will continue his trip with a bilateral visit to Moldova on Thursday, followed by a meeting in Sweden with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson to discuss European defence ahead of the NATO Summit. Mitsotakis will also attend the Bilderberg Club meeting in Stockholm.
