Moldovan President Maia Sandu spoke by phone today with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, reaffirming the strong friendship and cooperation between the two countries, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Sandu confirmed her participation in the upcoming Ukraine-Southeast Europe Summit, stressing the need for regional unity amid current security threats. She reiterated Moldova’s unwavering support for Ukraine, emphasizing that Ukraine’s resistance to Russian aggression also helps preserve peace in Moldova.

“Moldova stands firmly with Ukraine—for peace, freedom, and a European future,” Sandu stated, adding that Moldova’s support remains strong in all international forums.
