Prime Minister Dorin Recean announced the funding and visited Onești to inspect ongoing upgrades to the R33 Hâncești–Leușeni national road. The road, modernized to European standards, will span 37 kilometers and benefit over 21,000 residents across eight localities.

These initiatives are part of the broader Budget +PLUS program, which includes one billion lei in investments for road rehabilitation in about 100 communities, along with 230 development projects for urban and rural areas.
