Kids Wallet Key in Youth Safety Plan

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis centered his presentation of Greece’s National Strategy for Preventing Youth Violence and Delinquency around the "Kids Wallet" app, during an event at the Maximos Mansion. He urged parents to embrace the app as a tool to set healthy boundaries for children and to better understand adolescent behavior, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

Mitsotakis stressed the need to curb youth internet addiction and highlighted the benefits of sports participation in teaching young people responsibility and teamwork. He also praised the younger generation for being open about mental health issues and underscored the government's duty to support them with proper infrastructure.

The prime minister referenced the "Stop Bullying" platform, which has seen a rise in reports, and announced plans for a communication upgrade. He also mentioned the "Safe Youth" platform and the discreet but active role of the Hellenic Police in youth spaces.
