A meeting between Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen has begun in Brussels.

This statement was made on the official Telegram channel of the Ukrainian prime minister, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

“We are starting a meeting with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. We will discuss our next steps in European integration, defense and economic cooperation,” the report reads.

As reported, the 10th EU-Ukraine Association Council meeting took place in Brussels on April 9, chaired by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.

During the session, the two sides signed five intergovernmental agreements designed to enhance economic cooperation between Ukraine and the EU while expediting Ukraine's recovery process.
