In a social media post on Sunday, Mitsotakis praised the peaceful demonstrations as a sign of strong social sensitivity, stating that Greeks of all ages united to demand accountability. Referring to the findings of the Hellenic Aviation and Railway Safety Investigation Agency (HARSIA), Mitsotakis stressed that the tragedy was not just a coincidence or human error but highlighted systemic issues.
