
Moldova’s Deputy PM Discusses EU Integration in Warsaw

Discussions focused on Moldova’s European agenda, regional security, and the EU enlargement as a guarantor of unity and peace. Gherasimov emphasized Moldova’s preparations for opening negotiations on the first chapters during Poland’s upcoming EU Council presidency, thanking Warsaw for its support.
As part of her visit from February 17-21, Gherasimov will attend an informal EU General Affairs Council meeting and sign a Memorandum of Cooperation on European integration with Ukraine. She will also hold talks in Brussels on bilateral screening related to Chapter 1 – Free Movement of Goods.
