Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Monday attended the school parade for the October 28 national holiday in the west Athens district of Peristeri. In a statement afterward, he said the school children taking part in parades held throughout Greece were the "strength of our country" and that the government was obliged to provide them with the means to live better lives than their parents, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
"The 28th of October is always a day to pay our respects and reflect. We remember those who sacrificed their lives 84 years ago so that we, today, can be free.
