Illegal Arms Cache Found Near Ukrainian Border

Poland

Polish authorities are investigating a cache of military equipment discovered at an unsupervised warehouse near an airfield in Laszki, close to the Ukrainian border. The weapons, including anti-aircraft rocket launchers, reportedly belonged to a licensed private arms trader and were intended for transport to Ukraine, CE Report quotes PAP

Jacek Dobrzynski called the lack of supervision a “scandal,” emphasizing that such weapons must be properly stored and monitored. The Defence Ministry confirmed the arms were not part of its arsenal. The Przemyśl prosecutor’s office has been investigating the case for over a week, focusing on illegal possession and storage by a private company—a crime punishable by up to two years in prison.
