Poland

On Friday, top Polish officials, including President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Donald Tusk, gathered in Gniezno to commemorate 1,000 years since the coronation of Boleslaw I the Brave, the nation’s first king, CE Report quotes PAP

The 1025 coronation marked Poland's emergence as a sovereign Christian state in Europe. President Duda called it a "symbolic and legal confirmation" of Poland's statehood and international recognition.

Prime Minister Tusk emphasized Poland’s Western identity and proposed a new national doctrine centered on strength. He expressed confidence in Poland’s ability to match the world’s leading economies, stating, “We just need to have as much faith as Boleslaw the Brave had.”
