The Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture (AIPA) has started disbursing funds under Moldova’s electricity compensation program for businesses, MOLDPRES reports, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Payment orders are being processed for 780 applications, totaling 11.39 million lei, with 563 unique beneficiaries. The compensation covers 50% of the electricity tariff increase. Applications must be submitted within 30 days of the electricity bill issuance, and the program will continue throughout the year.

The total budget for the program is 300 million lei, implemented by the Moldovan government with EU support. Entrepreneurs can apply online via the EVO app or MCabinet portal, where they can also track the status of their requests.
