Olivia Rodrigo tops Billboard 200 for third time with record debut
Olivia Rodrigo has topped the Billboard 200 for the third time in her career as her new album debuted at No. 1 on the US chart.
Her album “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love”, released on June 12, amassed an impressive 485,000 equivalent album units in its opening week, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
This marks the pop star’s most successful week ever and the strongest week for any solo artist album this year so far.
Her third record received a significant boost from 15 different physical editions, while vinyl sales reached 164,000 units. This also represents Rodrigo’s best vinyl sales week to date and the highest weekly vinyl sales by a female artist this year.
