Anthony Mackie, Dafne Keen to star in action thriller “Barracuda”

“Captain America” Anthony Mackie and “Deadpool & Wolverine” actress Dafne Keen will star in the action thriller “Barracuda”.

It begins filming this week in New Mexico, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

The film is directed by Neil Burger, with the cast also including Steven Bauer and Anthony Del Negro, while the screenplay is written by Adam Mason and Simon Boyes.

According to the official synopsis, when Karl (Mackie), a former smuggler with a dark past, breaks into a club in Mexico to rescue the young Jodie (Keen), who has been kidnapped, it triggers an uncontrollable cycle of blood and violence.

The story follows a dangerous 100-mile journey to the US border, as they are pursued by ruthless criminals through the desert in a high-stakes race for survival.
