Louis Tomlinson brings World Tour to Italy
British singer Louis Tomlinson is bringing his How Did We Get Here? World Tour 2026—named after his third album released in January—to Italy for two dates. Often described as the honest soul and the “unofficial leader” of One Direction, he continues to build on his global legacy.
He will perform on April 9 at the Unipol Arena (Bologna) and on April 10 at the Unipol Forum (Milan), CE Report quotes ANSA.
Tomlinson, 34, has managed to transform the legacy of a global boy band into a solid solo career, defined by a sound closer to Britpop and indie rock than to mainstream radio hits. His journey began in 2010 on The X Factor UK, where his songwriting talent quickly emerged: he holds the highest number of writing credits in One Direction’s discography. Songs like History and Midnight Memories bear his signature, showcasing his natural ability to turn universal emotions into generational anthems.
After the band’s breakup, Tomlinson embarked on a path of self-discovery. His debut album Walls (2020) paid tribute to his influences such as Oasis and Arctic Monkeys. His follow-up, Faith in the Future (2022), solidified his position, debuting at number one in the UK and proving that his music resonates deeply with a fan base he calls “a family.”
What truly sets him apart is not just his music, but his integrity. In an industry often criticized for being artificial, he has maintained a transparent and almost protective relationship with his audience. His documentary All of Those Voices offered a raw and honest look at his vulnerabilities, personal losses, and the struggle to rediscover himself after overwhelming success.
Today, he is a stadium-selling artist: with a voice marked by emotional “roughness” and a working-class-hero attitude, he continues to prove that chasing trends isn’t necessary to stay relevant.
