Italian rapper arrested on weapons, robbery charges

Illegal possession of weapons and robbery are the charges that led officers from the Carabinieri provincial command of Lecco to arrest rapper Zaccaria Mouhib, known as Baby Gang, and take him to prison in Busto Arsizio (Varese). The rapper has previously been involved in other legal proceedings.

In a statement, the Carabinieri said they are executing several precautionary custody orders—also for alleged abuse—that involve Baby Gang and other individuals believed by investigators to be close to the 24-year-old from Calolziocorte, CE Report quotes ANSA.

Further details about this morning’s operation will be provided during a press conference scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Carabinieri headquarters in Lecco, in the presence of prosecutor Ezio Domenico Basso.
