French Groupe TAP Donates Powerful Solar Generators to Kyiv

The Kyiv region will receive 68 powerful mobile solar generators from Industrial Packing Solutions, part of the French Groupe TAP.

This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

Each generator has a peak capacity of 106.72 kW.

“This equipment will provide electricity to hospitals, schools, and water utilities, i.e., facilities that must operate under any conditions,” said the head of the Regional Military Administration.

The first two generators have already been delivered to Hostomel. French engineers have also arrived in Ukraine to train our specialists.

The project is being implemented under a grant agreement between the governments of Ukraine and France. Its goal is to support the restoration and stable operation of critical infrastructure facilities in the Kyiv region. The total amount of funding is 11.6 million euros.

As reported, Sumy region received a powerful 600 kW generator from the Ukrainian ambassador to Croatia, which will ensure the operation of the water utility in the border community.
