
Italy Officially Joins EU Nuclear Alliance
Italy officially joins the EU nuclear alliance, after previously participating as an observer, CE Report quotes ANSA.
The announcement was made by the Minister for Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto, during the latest meeting of the alliance on the sidelines of the Energy Council in Luxembourg.
The initiative, led by France, was launched in 2023 to promote the interests of countries that support nuclear energy. In addition to Rome and Paris, members include Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Sweden.
