Antonia Thomas joins cast of Peacock’s new comedy series Dig
“The Good Doctor” and “Misfits” star Antonia Thomas is the latest addition to the main cast of Peacock’s upcoming comedy series Dig.
The new production marks the television return of the creative duo Amy Poehler and Michael Schur, who are collaborating for the first time since the legendary Parks and Recreation, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.
Poehler will serve as writer and executive producer alongside Schur, while also starring alongside Hugh Laurie, Geraldine Viswanathan, and Fina Strazza.
Based on Kate Myers’ bestseller Excavations, the series will focus on four women working on an archaeological dig in Greece, each at a very different crossroads in their lives.
“When they uncover a long-buried secret with the potential to rewrite history, they find themselves targeted by an international conspiracy with high stakes.”
As reported by CE Report, Kate Hudson turned down the Mary Jane role in Spider-Man.
