Musical creation and research were recognized and awarded at the 30th edition of the Awards Gala of the Union of Composers and Musicologists of the Republic of Moldova, held in Chișinău.

Present at the event, Minister of Culture Cristian Jardan stated that the awarded works demonstrate that valuable music is being created in the Republic of Moldova, appreciated both at home and especially abroad, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.

“I attended the 30th edition of the Awards Gala of the Union of Composers and Musicologists of the Republic of Moldova, an event dedicated to musical creation and research. The evening highlighted consistency, hard work, and passion for symphonic music and research. I was glad to be alongside composers, musicologists, and researchers who for many years have been building our cultural heritage. The awarded works show that valuable music is being created in the Republic of Moldova, appreciated both domestically and, above all, internationally,” Cristian Jardan said.

The official emphasized that such events are important because they provide professional recognition and underline the importance of supporting contemporary creation and those working in the cultural sector.

As reported by CE Report, the Minister of Culture thanked the organizers, the jury, and all participants for their contribution to the country’s cultural life.
