The Oscars will move to YouTube starting in 2029, ending a long-standing partnership with ABC, which has broadcast the ceremony for decades.

YouTube will hold the rights from 2029 to 2033, while the 2028 edition—marking the 100th Academy Awards—will be the final ceremony to air on ABC, CE Report quotes ANSA.

As reported by CE Report, according to U.S. media reports, YouTube will also stream the red carpet and provide behind-the-scenes coverage of the event.
