Tom Cruise reacts harshly to Nicole Kidman’s divorce

Tom Cruise is said to have taken a harsh stance on the divorce of his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, from Keith Urban, calling the development in the former couple’s marriage “karma.”

In September, the actress and the singer announced they were separating after 19 years of marriage, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

The Hollywood star, who was married to Kidman from 1990 to 2001, is reportedly feeling somewhat justified by his ex’s divorce.

More specifically, a source close to Cruise told the International Business Times: “When Tom and Nicole split, all the blame fell on him and she got all the credit. He was portrayed as the bad guy and that followed him for years.”

“Tom was deeply hurt by how Nicole handled their breakup. She was on TV making hints about his height and portraying herself as a victim, while he stayed silent and took the hits,” the source added. The same source said that Cruise now feels “vindicated,” since Nicole Kidman also divorced her second husband, TCh reports.

“It bothered him that this guy was presented as a savior who appeared on a white horse and ‘rescued’ Nicole from the bad memories of their marriage. He’s been following the news about the divorce closely and, on one hand, he feels bad for her because he knows how much it hurts. On the other hand, he tells those close to him that this is karma doing its work,” the source said.
