
France reveals list of priceless artifacts stolen from Louvre
The French Ministry of Culture has released the official list of the "eight objects of inestimable heritage value" stolen this morning from the Louvre, CE Report quotes ANSA.
The stolen items are:
A diadem from the parure of Queen Marie-Amélie and Queen Hortense
A sapphire necklace from the parure of Marie-Amélie and Hortense
A pair of earrings made with two stones from the same sapphire parure
An emerald necklace from the parure of Marie-Louise
A pair of emerald earrings from the same parure
A brooch known as the "relic brooch"
A diadem of Empress Eugénie
A large corset jewel of Empress Eugénie
So far, only one item has been recovered: the diadem of Empress Eugénie, found damaged outside the Louvre.
