Iconic Bulgarian Rock Bands Thrill Apollonia Festival Audience
Rock bands B.T.R. and Ahat performed the first fully sold-out concert of this year’s Apollonia Festival of Arts, thrilling the audience at the Apollonia Amphitheatre in Sozopol, CE Report quotes BTA.
The musicians said they are always happy to join the festival, refreshing their repertoire each time to connect with Apollonia’s devoted audience. They were also joined on stage by Alexander Filchev – Sanetsa.
The two-hour concert concluded with an encore featuring some of their most iconic hits, including “Elmaz i staklo” (Diamond and Glass), “Cherna ovtsa” (Black Sheep), and “Spasenie” (Salvation).
The Apollonia Festival of Arts has been held annually since 1984. It is organized by the Apollonia Foundation, established in 1991. Each year, the festival's stages in Sozopol attract hundreds of artists and thousands of art lovers from Bulgaria and around the world.
The event aims both to preserve Bulgaria’s cultural traditions and to support new talents across various forms of art. This year’s programme features over 70 events spanning music, theatre, literature, cinema, and visual arts.
