Award-winning Slovenian novel to premiere at Sarajevo Festival

Award-winning director Marko Naberšnik’s new feature film, Whites Are Washed at 90, will premiere at the Sarajevo Film Festival on 21 August.

The film is an adaptation of the autobiographical novel by Bronja Žakelj, CE Report quotes STA.

Žakelj’s book won the prestigious Kresnik Prize in 2019 for best Slovenian novel of the year.

Whites Are Washed at 90 explores deeply personal themes drawn from the author’s life.
