This year’s lineup features films from France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Canada, and more, along with several Bulgarian entries. Live music acts such as Jazzika and Funkaround perform nightly before screenings.

The festival also offers a screenwriting workshop (Aug 7–9) with Rene Karabash and a filmmakers’ meet-up on August 9 at Dedal School. All events are free, with transport provided from Varna’s Archaeological Museum.

A platform for young filmmakers and socially engaged art, the festival focuses on themes like ecology and cultural heritage. It holds the EFFE Label 2024–2025 and is supported by local sponsors and the Varna Municipality.
