The event, running from August 1 to 6, began with a tribute to its late founder, Dr Emil Iliev, and performances by the Bulgarian National Radio Big Band, joined by Orlin Pavlov and child soloist Danaya Aleksandrova, CE Report quotes BTA

Culture Minister Marian Bachev, local and national officials, and media leaders attended the ceremony, where Bachev presented awards named after Dr Iliev.

This year’s edition highlights Bulgarian talent, including Dirty Loops, Nguyen Le Trio, ClassicArt & Veronika Todorova, and others. A jazz academy for children returns, along with a new album featuring works by the late Vasil Parmakov. The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) is a media partner.
