Twelve original artworks by paleoartist and paleontologist Vladimir Nikolov will go on display at the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH) in Sofia starting August 12. The exhibition, titled Jurassic World: Dinosaurs Beyond the Movies, aims to contrast Hollywood depictions of dinosaurs with current scientific understanding, CE Report quotes BTA

Through scientifically grounded illustrations, the exhibit offers a fresh look at the Mesozoic Era, challenging the cinematic image popularized by films like Jurassic Park.

Nikolov, a PhD student and assistant at NMNH, specializes in the bone tissues of fossil vertebrates found in Bulgaria. His artwork has been featured in international exhibitions, educational books, and magazines.
