Culture

Two African moon moths (Argema mimosae) have hatched at the Regional Museum of Natural History in Plovdiv, the museum announced on July 24. Described as a rare and exceptionally beautiful event, the moths are now on display in the museum’s “Tropic Hall.”

Known for their large wings and long, tail-like extensions, these nocturnal moths originate from tropical Africa and live for only a few days, focusing solely on reproduction, CE Report quotes BTA

“This is a remarkable moment and a unique chance for visitors to see one of nature’s most stunning butterflies up close,” the museum said.
