BAS Hosts Conference on Digital Cultural Heritage

The Institute of Balkan Studies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) will host a conference titled “Cultural Heritage in the Digital Era” on July 30 in Sofia. Held under the National Roadmap for Research Infrastructure and supported by the Ministry of Education and Science, the event will explore cultural heritage as an online resource and the evolving role of encyclopedias, CE Report quotes BTA

Speakers include Europeana Foundation Executive Director Harry Verwayen, BTA Director General Kiril Valchev, and researchers from BAS and Sofia University. The discussion will be moderated by Prof. Rumyana Preshlenova and Vessela Tsakova.
